Our Amazing Animals
Sowa Goat Sanctuary is home to more than 70 rescued animals, each with a story of their own.
What began with goats has grown into a family that includes sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, turkeys, and livestock guardian dogs.
Our residents come to us in many different ways. Some have survived neglect or cruelty. Some were rescued from slaughter auctions or situations where their caregivers could no longer meet their needs. Others were born with disabilities or developed complex medical conditions that require specialized, lifelong care.
Whatever brought them to Sowa, once they’re here, they’re home.
