What a beautiful space and healing experience! This Airbnb is a goat sanctuary that protects sheep, chickens, turkeys, and obviously goats from cruelty and abuse. The animals are in amazing, clean, and enriched spaces. You get a tour of the sanctuary and the best part, you get to spend time with the lovely animals. Olivia told us the story of each one and was so open and welcoming to all my questions. I’ve never seen friendlier goats in my life! They will solicit pets and curiously sniff and lick you. The room was oh-so-beautiful! Big open space, clean, and bright with views of the animals. They have a lovely bath and multiple shower systems to pick from. In the room they had a large tv with streaming services, books about goats, and useful information with nearly restaurants and activities. Jim and Olivia were lovely and welcoming hosts, I was inspired by their big hearts and beautiful mission.

I’ve stayed at the loft at Sowa Goat Sanctuary several times now and it never disappoints. The host, as always, was incredible. The loft is large and well organized with a living area (with a tv), a dinette area, and a sleeping area with the quaintest reading nook. The animal residents at the sanctuary are some of the sweetest, and I love getting to spend time with them whenever I stay at Sowa. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Our stay with Olivia was wonderful. She was flexible with a late check in and we had a great time meeting all of the goats in the morning. The loft was very clean and perfect for a quiet relaxing evening. I would highly recommend staying here!
